Description

The Guardian Profit Manager EA

The The Guardian Profit Manager EA is an automated tool built specifically to protect your capital and ensure that your hard earned market profits do not vanish because of sudden reversals. It works as a dedicated risk manager that constantly monitors your open trades and acts with surgical precision to lock in your gains.

The Story Behind the Robot

This robot holds a very special meaning in my journey because it was one of the first automated systems I ever created. It was born out of a practical need to strictly protect my trading balance without any emotional interference.

Later on, as my strategies evolved, the features of this manager were expanded and integrated into the system I use to this day, which is the The Guardian EA, where I managed to unify absolutely all my trading tools in one single place.

However, the The Guardian Profit Manager EA remains an incredibly interesting and powerful tool. It is the perfect choice for those who prefer to keep things simple, do not want cluttered screens, and just want to set clear, safe, and automated limits for their daily trading.

How It Works

The robot analyzes the floating profit of all open positions in real time. It calculates your gains by adding the net profit of your orders and the swap costs. Based on this data, it applies two main defenses. The first is closing trades based on a global session financial target, and the second is using a trailing stop to track your profits, ensuring you exit the trade at the best possible moment.

Detailed Configuration Manual (Inputs)

Every parameter of the robot was designed to be intuitive. Below is a detailed explanation of each menu item so that even a complete beginner can set up the system safely.

Group 1: Active Risk Smart Trailing and TP

This block controls the rules for moving your protection stop and the profit target for your current session.

Trailing Mode (InpTrailingMode)
Defines the unit of measurement the robot will use for its calculations. LIMIT_CASH means the values entered will be considered in your account currency. LIMIT_PERCENT means the values entered will be considered as a percentage of your total account balance.

Enable Trailing Stop (InpEnableTrailing)
Turns the trailing stop protection function on or off. Set it to true to turn it on and false to turn it off.

Trailing Start Trigger Value (InpTrailingStart)
This is the initial profit trigger for the robot to start protecting your trade. Practical Example: If set to 2.0 in LIMIT_CASH mode, the robot will start acting as soon as the sum of all your open trades reaches 2 dollars in positive floating profit.

Trailing Lock Profit Value (InpTrailingLock)
This is the minimum amount you want to put in your pocket as soon as the trigger is activated. Practical Example: If set to 1.0 in LIMIT_CASH mode, once the market hits the 2 dollar trigger from the previous item, the robot remembers that you have already secured 1 dollar. If the market reverses from there and the profit drops to 1 dollar, the robot closes everything immediately. If the market keeps rising to 5 dollars in profit, the robot updates the protection to 4 dollars, always keeping a safe distance of 1 dollar from the highest peak reached.

Enable Session Profit Target (InpEnableSessionProfit)
Turns the automatic closing by global target on or off. Set it to true to turn it on and false to turn it off.

Session Take Profit Value (InpTargetProfit)
This is your ultimate profit goal for the current session. Practical Example: If set to 10.0 in LIMIT_CASH mode, the robot will instantly close all open positions on the account as soon as their sum reaches 10 dollars in profit, completing the cycle with the goal achieved.

Group 2: Alert and Visual Settings

This block manages how the robot communicates with you, controlling visual and sound alerts.

Notification Routing (InpGlobalNotifRouting)
Defines where the robot will send alerts when a closing action occurs. GLOBAL_NOTIF_NONE means no notifications. GLOBAL_NOTIF_TERMINAL means an alert only on the MetaTrader screen on your computer. GLOBAL_NOTIF_PUSH sends a direct notification to the MetaTrader app on your phone. GLOBAL_NOTIF_SOUND plays only a sound signal on your computer. GLOBAL_NOTIF_ALL executes the visual alert, sends it to your phone, and plays the sound simultaneously.

Enable Profit Notifications (InpNotifProfit)
Determines whether specific notifications for locked profits and achieved targets should be sent. Choose true to allow sending.

Global Alert Sound File (InpGlobalNotifSound)
The name of the audio file that will be played on your computer whenever the robot makes an important move or closes orders.

Group 3: Support and Manual

Official support information inserted directly into your chart settings.

EA user manual (InpURL_Manual)
The official address to access documentation and news about the tool, set to codemystrategy.com.

Questions or suggestions (InpSupport)
The direct communication channel for customer service and user support, established through the email info@codemystrategy.com.
